Services – Guam Medical Transport

Our primary service is scheduled medical ambulance transportation to and from doctor’s appointments, dialysis, and hospital admittances and discharges, as well as scheduled transportation services to airlines for medical referrals. All of our vehicles are equipped with BLS devices and staffed by certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) who monitor vital signs, administer oxygen, and provide medical care en route.

What is the definition of “non-emergency”?

Non-emergency medical transportation services are defined as transportation to or from any medical service for the purpose of receiving treatment and/or medical evaluation. For any medical emergencies, such as stroke, heart attacks, etc., please call 9-1-1 immediately.

Our services are available 24/7! We can accommodate any pick-up/drop-off time so long as it is scheduled in advance.

Becoming a client of Guam Medical Transport is easy! All a prospective client needs to do is call and inquire about our services, then, we’ll connect him or her with a case manager. The case manager will then work with the prospective client to collect all relevant and necessary information (e.g., medical conditions, insurance, accommodation of any special needs, etc.).

Q: If I have special needs or requests can GMT accommodate them?
A: GMT makes it a point to accommodate special needs. The GMT family understands that every individual is different. Some patients may request special care due to medical conditions, or simply because that is how they would like something done. We take pride in our transports and making sure that every trip is comfortable and tailored to satisfy our clients.


Q: Will my health insurance cover payment?
A: Yes, depending on your insurance plan and company. Our case managers and billing specialists work with your insurance company so that you do not have to! We accept Medicare part B, Medicaid, and other health insurance carriers. Please call for more information.


Q: I do not have health insurance. Can I still receive transport services?
A: Of course! For clients who do not have health insurance we have low self-pay rates. Please call us for more information about self-paying.
